Grape varieties: 46% Chardonnay, 54% Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier.
Characteristics:
- Pale golden-yellow colour; fine cordon, light bubbles.
- Intense and complex nose; aromatic notes blending floral (jonquil, linden flowers) and fruits (cherry, blackberry) on a base of roasted-coffee smells.
- Rich, vinous and concentrated taste; at first, aromas of dried fig and crystallised cherry, then rapidly aromas of grilled almond and biscuit; long and powerful length in the mouth.
Serving: Serve at 8-10°C. Delicious as an aperitif, but also accompanied to a selection of game, poultry, mushrooms, caviar, some sorts of cheese as gorgonzola, blue cheese etc.
