Grape varieties: Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 50%.
Characteristics:
- Beautiful, intense, deep red color, with a very youthful appearance.
- Elegant, fruity bouquet with a delicate hint of oak. Plenty of very refined, smooth tannins on the palate. Lots of volume. The flavors reflect the bouquet - very ripe black fruit and elegant toasty hints which continue into a beautiful, long aftertaste. A generous, suave wine with good ageing potential.
Serving: At 18°C, this wine is a good accompaniment to red meats (chateaubriand) and game birds (quail with grapes). This wine is also very enjoyable with duck confit, chicken with morel mushrooms, and medium-strong cheeses.
